TT Driver Training would like to outline our business terms and conditions.               

 

By booking a driving  lesson or lessons provided by TT Driver Training, Newcastle, New South Wales ('TT' or 'we'), as part of TT Driver Education ("Program"), the participant ("you") accepts these terms and conditions.

 

If you are driving in your own vehicle, your Instructor must first assess that your vehicle is roadworthy (only a basic external inspection will be carried out).

The duration of a standard on-road lesson is one hour, including lesson briefing and de-briefing. Lessons commence at a pre-determined pick-up point, determined at the time of booking the lesson.

While every endeavour is made to commence the lesson at the scheduled time, no responsibility can be taken for circumstances beyond our or our instructors' control which may delay the start time.

You must give at least 24 hours notice of cancellation of a lesson. The full lesson fee applies for late cancellations or non-attendance, plus any surcharge fees. Notice of less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours, will result in 50% of lesson fee being charged.

Late payment of invoices will incur a $30.00 administration fee and 25% interest charged per month on outstanding amounts, this reimburses TT for expenses incurred. No profit is made from these fees.

All outstanding accounts and invoices 90 days or more overdue will be forwarded to the collection agency Dun & Bradstreet for retrieval. This would be a last resort. Any legal fees incurred by TT Driver Training in collecting overdue accounts will be charged back to the clients account and will become part of the outstanding debt. This applies also to fees charged by collection agents employed to collect outstanding accounts.

You indemnify and agree to keep indemnified TT and its related bodies corporate and their officers, employees, contractors, and agents against any loss, damage, liability, costs and expenses in connection with your breach of these terms and conditions or any other legal obligation by you.

Neither TT, nor its driving instructors accept any liability whatsoever for personal property that is left in any Instructor supplied vehicle, or your vehicle.

If driving lessons take place in your own vehicle, you warrant that you are covered by compulsory third party insurance and that your vehicle is covered by comprehensive insurance.

Neither TT nor its driving instructors accept any responsibility whatsoever for the outcome of any driving test which you take.

We collect your personal information in order to provide lessons to you and to assess your driving skills and to assist our internal administration and operations including accounting, risk management, record keeping, archiving, systems development and testing, and staff training. We may use and disclose your personal information to our driving instructors for these purposes. 

                                                 

All our current rates, packages and surcharges are available for view on our website. Bookings as part of a pre-paid package are available weekdays before 5pm and Saturdays before 12pm only. If you have paid for a package, and book your lessons after those hours, the surcharge difference is payable.

 

A surcharge per hour will be added to our current hourly rate for the following bookings:

 

Public Holiday’s & Sunday’s               $20.00 p/h

Bookings from 5pm Weekday’s        $10.00 p/h

and from 12pm Saturday’s

 

Please keep in mind that these surcharges are in place for lessons that are not within normal business working hours. With increasing costs and longer service times expected, we have been unable to sustain providing these long hours for our valued clients without implementing the changes outlined above.
